Here are some files and PowerPoint Presentations that may be useful for First Graders. The first link is to a picture of a tree that you can print out, fold in half, and draw the line of symmetry. I call it Sym-A-Tree. (Excuse my play on words.) The first presentation helps students learn some Geometric Shapes. While the link to this presentation is called "Shapes", the actual presentation is called "Geometric Shapes". It starts the same as my presentation for Kindergartners, buts includes more information for First Graders. In all of these presentations, you or your child or student can click on the speaker icon to hear the word. I hope that you and your child or students will find these helpful.
