Calculators
for Algebra 2
Calculators will not be permitted on
tests during first semester of Algebra 2, but will be permitted during second
semester.
Please see the list
of calculators at the bottom of this page that students can use on the tests
second semester.
Graphing or Programmable
Calculators (such as TI-7x, TI-8x, TI-9x from Texas Instruments, or others
from Casio that are also graphing or programmable) will not be permitted for use
on tests.
In addition, some calculators can solve problems for you that we will be
learning how to solve in class this year. These calculators will not
be permitted for use on tests either. Some examples of the calculators
that are not permitted during tests include but are not limited to
Casio fx-115ES, Casio fx-115MSPlus, and the fx-300ES.
